A 1920s Persian Moud rug, measuring approximately 307.3 × 414.0 cm (about 10’1″ × 13’7″). The composition is built on a blue ground with a finely drawn floral design, in the small-scale repeating vocabulary characteristic of the Moud weaving tradition.

Moud is a village in the Khorassan province of northeastern Persia (now Iran), historically known for one of the highest knot counts in Persian carpet production.
