A late 19th-century Persian Serapi carpet from the 1890s, measuring approximately 335.5 × 457.5 cm (about 11’0″ × 15’0″). The composition centers on a red-toned medallion over a rust field, framed by a tan-toned border — a saturated formal Serapi color register.

Serapi is the trade name for the highest-quality antique carpets produced in the Heriz weaving district of northwestern Persia in the late 19th century.
