A one-of-a-kind mid-20th-century Persian Sarouk carpet,

Sarouk is a village in the Markazi province of west-central Persia (now Iran), and Sarouk-style carpets — produced both there and in surrounding Hamadan-region villages — were one of the most reliably sold formats of formal antique Persian decorative carpet in the early-to-mid 20th century, particularly recognized for floral designs in deep red palettes.

Hand-knotted wool. Authentic one-of-a-kind.
