Antique Coral Sarouk Room Size Wool Rug, Country of Origin: Iran Persia, Circa Date: 1920s. This magnificent example of early 20th-century weaving represents the pinnacle of the sarouk style, renowned for its dense construction and sophisticated use of color, characteristic of the Arak region.
Woven during the 1920s, a golden age for the production of fine antique rugs, this piece features the robust structure necessary for a high-traffic area. Its generous dimensions classify it as a true room size format, perfectly suited to anchor a formal living space or dining room with historical gravitas.
