A late 19th-century Persian Serapi Heriz carpet from around 1890, measuring approximately 365.9 × 548.9 cm (about 12’0″ × 18’0″). The composition pairs a saturated red field with a navy border in a confident geometric vocabulary — a classic high-end Serapi color and design register, in a generous longer format proportion suited to formal dining and large living rooms.

Serapi is the trade name for the highest-quality antique carpets produced in the Heriz weaving district of northwestern Persia in the late 19th century.

Hand-knotted wool. Authentic one-of-a-kind antique. Medallion layout.
