A shag rug is all about texture, and this one has plenty of it. Long, silky strands about an inch and a half deep catch the light, so the golden yellow shifts from honey to bright sunflower as you walk past. It is hand tufted in India from shimmering polyester, which keeps the pile soft and helps it resist shedding.
A solid color shag brings warmth and a bit of fun into a living room, bedroom or family room. The yellow looks especially good against gray, white or navy furniture, and the plush pile feels great under bare feet.
