A late 19th-century Turkish Oushak carpet from around 1880, measuring approximately 304.8 × 396.2 cm (about 10’0″ × 13’0″). The composition centers on a medallion design over an orange field — a saturated, warm color register characteristic of Oushak production of this period.
Oushak takes its name from the town of Uşak in western Turkey.
