Serab (also Sarab) is a historic weaving region in northwestern Persia (now Iran), best known for camel-toned, often solid-field carpets and runners produced in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Serab pieces are particularly recognized for their hand-spun camel-and-wool yarn foundations.
