This solid blue rug gets its depth from fine viscose, which has a natural sheen that makes the color shift from deep to bright blue depending on the light and the direction of the pile. It is hand tufted in India on a cotton canvas backing, with a short pile of about 0.4 inches.
A solid rug like this anchors a contemporary living room, bedroom or dining room without competing with patterned furniture or art. The blue works well with warm wood floors and with white or neutral walls. Viscose is best in rooms with moderate foot traffic and should be kept dry.
