An early 20th-century Persian Kirman carpet from around 1900, measuring approximately 439.4 × 469.9 cm (about 14’5″ × 15’5″) — an unusual near-square format suited to grand-format formal rooms. The composition pairs a blue field with a camel-toned border in the refined floral vocabulary characteristic of Kirman workshop production.

Kirman (Kerman) is a major city in southeastern Persia (now Iran), with one of the longest continuous formal-carpet weaving traditions in the country.

Hand-knotted wool, fine knot count. Authentic one-of-a-kind antique.
