An early 20th-century South-East Persian Kirman gallery carpet from around 1920, measuring approximately 152.7 × 518.4 cm (about 5’0″ × 17’0″). The composition pairs a beige field with a blue border in the long gallery-format proportion characteristic of Kirman production for European and American export markets.

Kirman (Kerman) is a major city in southeastern Persia (now Iran), with the longest continuous formal-carpet weaving traditions in the country.

Hand-knotted wool. Authentic one-of-a-kind antique, in an unusual size.
