A one-of-a-kind antique Persian Kerman rug
Kerman (also Kirman) is a major city in southeastern Persia (now Iran), with one of the longest continuous formal-carpet weaving traditions in the country. Kerman carpets are particularly recognized for fine knot counts, refined floral drawing, and the pastel-and-saturated color palettes that defined Persian decorative carpet exports from the late 19th century through the mid-20th.
