A 1920s Chinese Peking carpet measuring approximately 248.9 × 299.7 cm (about 8’2″ × 9’10”). The composition is built on a blue open field with a floral and bird design — a traditional Chinese decorative motif characteristic of Peking workshop production.
Peking-style rugs were produced in workshops across northern China.
