A late 19th-century Chinese Ningxia rug from the 1880s, measuring approximately 111.8 × 203.2 cm (about 3’8″ × 6’8″). The composition is built on a camel/yellow ground with a geometric foo dog design — a traditional Chinese decorative motif (foo dogs / Chinese guardian lions) characteristic of the Ningxia workshop tradition.
