Antique Caucasian Caucasian Knotted Rug, Circa Date: 1920s. This exemplary piece of weaving history is a genuine representation of traditional Caucasian craftsmanship, offering collectors a superb example among antique rugs.
The field is dominated by a rich, saturated indigo, providing a powerful contrast to the rust and salmon tones of the primary geometric medallions, making it a striking addition to any collection of blue color rugs.
Characterized by bold, stepped star motifs stacked vertically, the design utilizes a dense, repeating structure that effectively functions as an allover rugs pattern, typical of Lesghi tribal production.
Framed by multiple guard borders featuring stylized latch-hook elements, this rug’s dimensions make it an ideal small scatter size piece, perfect for defining an entryway or hallway with authentic tribal artistry.
Condition: Good.
