Bakshaiesh (also Bakhshaiesh) is a village in the Heriz region of northwestern Persia (now Iran), historically associated with hand-knotted village carpets that combine the geometric clarity of the broader Heriz/Serapi tradition with a slightly looser, more individual hand.
