A monumental early 20th-century Persian Senneh carpet from the 1900s, The piece measures approximately 12’0″ × 22’6″ (per the seller listing) — a true gallery-format proportion suited to formal long living rooms, ballrooms, hotel reception floors, and the largest residential rooms.

The composition is a finely drawn blue foliate design. Senneh — the historical name for the city of Sanandaj in Persian Kurdistan, in northwestern Iran — was one of the most refined small-format weaving centers in the Persian tradition, but in larger formats Senneh carpets like this one are particularly rare. The Senneh tradition is known for its exceptionally fine knot count, single-weft construction, and clearly drawn floral and foliate vocabularies.

Hand-knotted wool. Authentic one-of-a-kind antique.
