Antique American Small Square Yellow Quilt: a quilt made in the United States, 82 x 91 inches (6’10” x 7’7″). It is pieced from fabric and quilted through to a backing, not knotted or woven like a rug. Quilts like this were made as bed coverings; today they are hung as textile art or used as a throw or bed topper. Because it is a textile, we do not recommend it for use on the floor.

This rare textile piece, originating from the early 20th century, captures a unique, minimalist aesthetic that transcends traditional decorative styles, offering a powerful statement through simplicity.

The dominant hue is a rich, saturated yellow, providing exceptional warmth and light to any interior setting. This vibrant shade places it firmly within the category of yellow color textiles, offering an unparalleled visual density without the distraction of complex ornamentation.

While seemingly monochromatic, the surface reveals subtle, finely executed quilting lines that create a quiet, textural allover pattern.

Condition: Good.
