An early 20th-century Bessarabian flat-weave carpet from around 1925, measuring approximately 152.5 × 396.4 cm (about 5’0″ × 13’0″). The composition centers on a medallion design, pairing a dusty-rose field with an olive border — a distinctive and unusual color register for a Bessarabian piece in the long-format proportion.

Bessarabia is the historical name for a region between the Prut and Dniester rivers, today divided across Moldova and Ukraine.

Hand-stitched wool flat-weave. Authentic one-of-a-kind antique.
