What does “Radiant Panel Class I” mean for hotel rugs and carpet?

It’s a fire-test classification for floor coverings; Class I is more stringent. A common benchmark is a minimum critical radiant flux of 0.45 W/cm² under ASTM E648/NFPA 253.
