How are viscose (rayon) rugs made, and what are their care limits?

Cellulosic pulp becomes viscose filament, then woven/tufted for silk-like sheen. Viscose loses significant strength when wet—water can flatten fibers and cause distortion—so only very gentle, low-moisture care is advised.
