Antique N.W. Persian Hallway Runner Wool Rug, Country of Origin: Iran / Persia, Circa Date: 1890s. This exceptional piece represents the finest tradition of antique rugs woven in the late 19th century, characterized by robust construction and deeply saturated natural dyes that have mellowed beautifully over more than a century. Perfectly proportioned for transitional spaces, this hallway runner rugs format is highly sought after for adding warmth and historical depth to long corridors and entryways. The provenance points directly to Iranian / Persian rugs from the Northwest region, where weavers utilized resilient, high-quality local wool to create durable, highly decorative textiles. The central field features a sophisticated, aged palette of moss green and khaki, providing a subtle backdrop for the complex design.
