Antique Sultanabad Persian Allover Floral Knotted Rug, Circa Date: 1930s. This exceptional Persian Sultanabad piece captures the enduring elegance of early 20th-century weaving. The allover design eschews a central medallion in favor of a continuous, organic arrangement of palmettes and stylized vines, characteristic of the finest antique rugs from the region. The field is dominated by a luminous, warm golden tone, a sophisticated shade that places this piece squarely within the highly desirable category of ivory beige cream colored textiles. This subtle palette allows the secondary accents of soft teal, terracotta, and deep indigo to emerge with clarity, showcasing the masterful use of natural dyes and the gentle abrash achieved over time. The intricate, repeating floral motifs are framed by a complex series of nested borders.
