The ground is a soft aqua, a cool blue green that reads calm in daylight and keeps its color under lamplight. Among our blue color rugs this is one of the gentlest shades, easy to place against linen upholstery, pale oak and off white walls. The only ornament is a sparse band of small charcoal motifs, each a cluster of four dots set in a cross, spaced widely so the field stays open.
