$16,300.00

Vintage Rya Room Size Wool Red Rug, Circa Date: 1960s. This exceptional Scandinavian Rya piece captures the essence of Mid-Century Modern design, offering both luxurious texture and bold red color. Its substantial dimensions make it one of our finest room size rugs available in this distinctive style. Hand-knotted from sumptuous wool, the deep, shaggy pile characteristic of Rya weaving provides unparalleled tactile comfort. The palette moves dynamically through rich gradations, transitioning from deep red at the outer edges to a vibrant, saturated core, defining it as a striking example among red color rugs. The visual impact is achieved through a masterful use of color gradation rather than complex figural motifs. The large, concentric ovals create a powerful, abstract geometric design, perfectly suited for modern interiors seeking a focal point of warmth and energy.
