Antique Kilim - Oushak Turkish Flat Weave Rug, Circa Date: 1900s. This exceptional Turkish flat weave represents the pinnacle of Oushak regional weaving traditions, offering a compelling geometric counterpoint to traditional pile antique rugs. The kilim technique emphasizes crisp lines and bold color blocking, perfectly suited to the tribal aesthetic of the early 20th century. The palette is dramatically saturated, dominated by a striking central field rendered in a vibrant shade of Coral. This fiery hue is framed by broad bands of deep, contrasting tones and subtle neutral accents, creating a high-contrast visual tension typical of the finest Anatolian weavings. Within the expansive field, highly stylized, totemic motifs repeat rhythmically, suggesting an allover design that draws the eye across the entire surface.
