Antique Bijar Hallway Runner Wool Grey Rug, Country of Origin: Iran / Persia, Circa Date: 1930s. This exceptional piece exemplifies the renowned durability and craftsmanship associated with Bijar weaving centers. Its long, narrow profile is perfectly suited to the hallway runner format, offering both visual guidance and robust protection for high-traffic areas. The palette is sophisticated and restrained, dominated by a deep, subtle grey field that shifts slightly toward sage green depending on the light. This grounding color is beautifully contrasted by secondary tones of terracotta, ivory, and soft camel, providing warmth without overwhelming the overall composition. The natural wool foundation ensures a rich depth of color that only improves with age.
