Soft Decorative Yellow Antique Room Size Turkish Oushak Rug

Antique Oushak Turkish Floral, Medallion Yellow Rug, Circa Date: 1920s. This exceptional piece exemplifies the elegance of early 20th-century western Anatolian weaving. Oushak production during this period often favored grand scale and softer palettes, making this a highly desirable addition to any collection of antique rugs. The composition is defined by a serene, open field of luminous yellow, providing a perfect counterpoint to the subtle, sun-bleached tones of yellow used in the detailing. This restrained use of color highlights the textile's luxurious texture and enhances its ability to integrate seamlessly into modern or traditional interiors. A graceful, stylized medallion anchors the center, framed by sweeping floral sprays and delicate vine work that extend into the expansive borders.
