Antique Khotan Room Size Wool Coral Rug, Circa Date: 1935. This exceptional example of East Turkestan weaving presents a commanding presence, perfectly scaled as a room size rug for contemporary interiors. Its finely knotted wool pile is plush and retains a beautiful patina consistent with its early 20th-century origin, making it a testament to the enduring artistry of the Silk Road region. The vibrant main field is saturated in a rich, warm coral hue, a color highly sought after in Central Asian textiles. This deep coral tone provides a striking contrast to the secondary palette of teal, saffron yellow, and pale blue found in the intricate medallions and borders.
