$21,000.00

Antique Amritsar Room Size Wool Yellow Rug, Circa Date: 1900s. This exceptional example of early 20th-century weaving presents a striking visual presence, characteristic of the finest Indian workshop productions. Its substantial dimensions classify it as a true room size piece, ideal for anchoring a major reception space or dining hall. The primary field is dominated by a rich, saturated yellow hue. This intense background provides a dramatic contrast to the border, which utilizes a sophisticated palette of pale yellow and deeper yellow accents, lending depth and complexity to the overall design. The design structure is classical, featuring a large, ornate central medallion rendered in complex layers of yellow tones.
