Ivory Artistic Antique Folk Art Tree Of Life Design American Hooked Rug

Antique American Hooked Ivory 1935 Rug, Circa Date: 1935. This exceptional piece represents the enduring tradition of American folk textile art. Hooked rugs from this era often display a charming individuality, moving away from formal European designs toward a more expressive, handcrafted aesthetic, making it a desirable example among antique rugs. The primary visual feature is a highly stylized Tree of Life, rendered in bold, saturated hues. The composition is richly populated with large, expressive botanical elements, classifying it among important examples of floral rugs.
