Green Fine Antique Persian Moud / Khorassan Animal Hunting Scene Room Size Rug

Antique Moud Persian Medallion Knotted Rug, Circa Date: 1880s. This exceptional Persian weaving from the Khorasan province represents the finest traditions of Moud craftsmanship. The design centers on a complex, highly detailed medallion set against a field that immediately captures attention. This piece is a superb example among our collection of antique rugs. The field is defined by a rare, luminous shade of pale pistachio, a sophisticated hue that elevates the entire composition. This soft, muted tone provides a perfect counterpoint to the rich accents of indigo, madder red, and ivory used in the medallion and spandrels. The subtle patina achieved over 140 years makes this a definitive piece for collectors seeking green color rugs.
