Fine Light Faded Blue Antique Persian Tree Of Live Design Room Size Khorassan Rug

$16,800.00

Antique Moud Room Size Wool Blue Rug, Circa Date: 1930s. This exceptional Persian piece showcases the sophisticated weaving tradition of the Khorasan region. Its generous dimensions classify it as a true room size rug, ideal for anchoring a formal living space or grand dining area. The field presents a remarkably soft celadon-blue ground, a subtle hue that provides a tranquil backdrop for the intricate pictorial design. This delicate use of the blue color palette is beautifully balanced by the warm, sun-faded ochre and camel tones defining the border and the central motifs. The primary pattern is a sublime interpretation of the Tree of Life motif, featuring stylized cypress trees, blossoming flowers, and pairs of elegant birds.
