Antique Sultanabad Persian Blue 1930s Rug, Circa Date: 1930s. This magnificent Persian textile is characteristic of the finest Sultanabad rugs produced during the early Pahlavi period, known for their robust structure and sophisticated, large-scale design elements. The central field is saturated with a deep, mesmerizing indigo, anchoring the entire composition. This profound shade of navy establishes the rug's stately presence and places it among the most desirable blue color rugs available in the market today, perfectly offsetting the terracotta and camel highlights. The intricate design utilizes an impressive allover rugs structure, where stylized palmettes, vines, and serrated leaves repeat dynamically across the field without the interruption of a central medallion.
