Antique Kerman Oversized Large Oversized Big Rug Wool Green, Country of Origin: Iran / Persia, Circa Date: 1930s. This magnificent example of early 20th-century weaving represents the pinnacle of the Kerman tradition, renowned for its technical mastery and delicate coloration. Its sheer scale classifies it as a truly oversized big rug, commanding attention in any grand interior. The central medallion and field are dominated by a soft, ethereal sage, characteristic of the most sought-after green color rugs from this region. This subtle hue provides a calming counterpoint to the densely woven border, which features intricate detailing in warm golds and ivory. The craftsmanship speaks directly to the enduring legacy of Iranian / Persian rugs.
