Antique Qazvin Persian Allover Geometric Knotted Rug, Circa Date: 1930s. This exceptional Persian weaving from the Qazvin region presents a highly stylized, dense field pattern that defines its character. As a superb example of antique rugs, its intricate allover design adheres to a structured, repeating geometry typical of early 20th-century workshop productions. The palette is remarkably subdued, featuring soft terracotta and faded indigo elements set against a beautifully aged ground. This subtle interplay of tones results in a sophisticated texture, emphasizing the desirable muted characteristics of gray color rugs that are highly sought after in contemporary interiors. The central field's complex repeating motifs are framed by a series of guard borders, each featuring smaller, finely detailed cartouches and vine scrolls.
