Antique Art Deco Room Size Wool Blue Navy, Coral / Salmon Rug, Circa Date: 1920s. This exceptional piece exemplifies the elegance of the early Art Deco movement, successfully merging traditional Chinese naturalism with a modern, simplified composition. It is a stunning and highly collectible example of high-quality antique rugs. The dramatic field is rendered in a deep, lustrous navy, creating a striking and sophisticated backdrop for the vibrant botanical motifs. This saturated hue is highly sought after among collectors of blue color rugs, providing unparalleled depth and visual contrast against the wide, shimmering coral border. Flowing branches laden with chrysanthemums, peonies, and delicate bamboo stalks cascade across the field, executed in subtle shades of salmon, olive, and pale gold.
