Antique Art Deco Large Room Size Wool Blue Rug, Circa Date: 1925. This exceptional Chinese Art Deco piece captures the transitional elegance of the 1920s, blending traditional motifs with modernist simplicity. Its generous dimensions make it an ideal choice among room size rugs designed for grand interiors. The central field is dominated by a profound, saturated navy blue, offering a striking contrast to the luminous, wide tan border. This deep hue provides a sophisticated foundation, characteristic of the finest blue color rugs from the period, allowing the delicate border design to truly flourish. The border features a masterfully executed, asymmetrical design of trailing vines, blossoms, and stylized foliage, rendered in subtle shades of pale blue, crimson, and gold.
