Antique American American Hooked Rug Ivory 1925, Circa Date: 1925. This exceptional textile is a prime example of early 20th-century American folk art, utilizing the distinctive hooked technique. The design presents a dense, captivating grid of concentric squares, a sophisticated interpretation of the traditional log cabin quilt pattern. We specialize in locating the finest antique rugs from this period for discerning collectors. The palette is masterfully balanced, featuring a soft, variegated ground of ivory, beige, and cream tones that frame the vibrant interior squares. Each central square bursts with shades of coral, terracotta, and deep rose, creating a dynamic visual rhythm across the surface. Subtle accents of muted blue and plum provide depth and complexity to the overall composition.
