A striking antique red Sultanabad, hand-knotted in wool in Persia around 1890. This one-of-a-kind piece showcases a geometric composition across a red palette, and measures 13'0" x 22'0". Sultanabad carpets come from the Arak region of western Persia and are renowned for their large-scale, allover semi-botanical designs and warm, mellow colors that suit grand rooms beautifully. Its generous, oversized scale makes a statement in an appropriately scaled great room, primary suite or open-plan space. Its reds bring warmth and depth, classic with dark woods and leather. Hand-knotted from durable wool, it is made to be lived with and handed down.
