A striking antique green Sultanabad, hand-knotted in wool in western Persia around 1890. This one-of-a-kind piece showcases a floral composition across a green palette, and measures 15'0" x 16'0". Sultanabad carpets come from villahges in the Arak region of Persia and are renowned for their large-scale, allover botanical designs and warm, mellow colors that suit grand rooms beautifully. Its generous, oversized scale makes a statement in a great room, primary suite or open-plan space. The greens bring a natural, calming note that pairs well with creams, terracotta and rattan. Hand-knotted from durable wool, it is made to be lived with and handed down.
